29th May 2024 Community Branch Southern Peninsula Grant Awards

A big thank you to one of our sponsors, Community Bank Southern Peninsula after we received $1,500 for their Grant Awards for local community groups. This money will help us with the ever increasing insurance costs for our shed.

29th May 2024 Monthly Lunch

A big thank you to the volunteers from Dromana Community House who kindly cooked an amazing 3 course dinner for 30 shed members. We share a good relationship with each other as our shed have completed many community tasks for Dromana Community House.

A big thank you to those helped prepare the meals including Tracey, Rob and Imelda. Everyone agreed that the meals were delicious and we will do this again soon.

They look after those in need with meals on a weekly basis as the cost of living increases.

13th February 2024 Jim Forsyth (RIP)

We received some sad news that Jim Forsyth had passed away. Jim was always willing to help anyone who asked for help. He also helped guide us through the initial stage of our shed extension last year. Rest In Peace.

26th January 2024 Australia Day Celebration

Unfortunately the weather was rather bleak to start the day with some heavy showers during the morning. As the day progressed, the sun did come out and we had a constant queue for the egg and bacon rolls that were free until 10.15 a.m. We started selling our sausages, providing The Shed with a healthy contribution on the day.
