Blaze Aid who help communities build after natural disasters throughout Australia approached the Safety Beach Dromana Men’s Shed for assistance in repairing an old working trailer which needed a lot of TLC.

Dromana Community House Storage Unit
A storage unit that was donated to the Dromana Community House needed altering so that the front shelf could be elevated and become a bench. We had to work with the unit on site.

We were asked if we could make 6 wooden gavels for McCrae Lions for some of their valued members. You can see they are very well made all looking the same in quality and size.

Our neighbour required a purpose built fernery. It was built in four pieces, transported to the location and assembled where shade cloth was wrapped around all sides and the roof.
Also we made 2 new gates and a park bench for people to use while at the community garden.

St. Andrew’s Opportunity Shop Cubby House, Somerville
After completing work on the Mobility Ramp, we were asked if we could help repair and paint their Cubby House which was in need of some TLC.

St. Andrew’s Opportunity Shop Mobility Ramp, Somerville
The Safety Beach Dromana Men’s Shed was approached to build a Mobility Access Ramp at their Opportunity Shop in Somerville, so as to help those who are unable to use stairs to access their shop.
The shed members were only to happy to come and visit the Op Shop to understand their requirements and maintain the safety and strict standards required.
